Rules set: Competitive
Maps: Tournament referee chooses the first map, successive rounds alternates between the competing teams starting by the team who lost the first round.
Hero selection limit: 1 per team
Disable kill cam: on
Additional rules: In case of a tie on Assault, Hybrid or Escort a preset Best of One Control map is to be played. The team that captures the first objective fully, on the first point of the control map will win the tied map.
Stoppage of Play:
  • It is forbidden to use the pause without an obvious reason, such as player disconnects. Custom game host/moderator have to pause the game immediately when a team request it in chat.
  • The team that requested pause need to announce the reason before or immediately after the pause to the tournament referee.
  • Each team is granted a total of 10 minutes pause time during the match.
  • When resuming the game from pause, both teams need to confirm in chat that they are ready to continue.
  • If total pause time of 10 minutes runs out, the game has to be resumed, no matter if the issue got fixed or not. If one team refuses to resume the game, the oppose team will receive a default win.
  • Admins hold the right to request teams to pause during the match in case of any other issues, and the time used to pause the match will not count for the team it was requested to.
1. The use of any cheat program and/or map hack program.
2. An intentional disconnection without a proper and explicitly stated reason
3. The use of any settings exceeding the standard and permitted settings
4. Intentionally allowing an opponent to win a game.
5. Unsportsmanlike or disruptive behaviour such as inappropriate and/or unprofessional actions directed towards another player or tournament official.
6. The use of a game bug that is determined by the board of referees as being unfair.
7. The use of an ineligible player (aka “ringing”)
Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, the offending player, at the sole discretion of the tournament director or a group of referees, may receive a warning, a forfeit loss, disqualified from the tournament. During the course of the event, the tournament director or group of referees may determine other actions to embody unfair play.
Rule Changes: The Administrators reserve the right to modify the rules as needed. This includes changes due to software updates or releases, event organizer decisions and all other changes deemed necessary to run a successful tournament. Players are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to the event to ensure they are in complete compliance. Players must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the administrators based on the spirit of the game.
By registering for this tournament, you forfeit all image rights and rights to any gameplay that may be captured. Three XP Event Management reserves the right to use such footage, imagery and other materials for marketing purposes. You acknowledge that you may be photographed or filmed during this event and allow Three XP Event Management to allow any such materials for marketing purposes. You additionally agree to abide by the rules used to govern the tournament and which will be published on the ownage gaming website. Three XP Event Management reserves the right to amend these rules at any time without being bound to update the interested parties, registered teams and the general public. In the event Three XP Event Management seems that not enough teams have registered for the tournament, Three XP reserves the right to cancel the tournament or reduce the size of the prize pool. Notice of such a decision will be made via ownage game social media channels and entrants would be eligible for a full refund. In the event of a registered participant using foul language and violent behaviour Three XP reserves the right to ban the participant from entry without a refund. In the event of the participant using software which offers an unfair and/or illegal advantage over competitors, they will be banned without a refund. If their actions are deemed to have broken UAE cyber law, they will be referred to the appropriate authorities. All decisions made by Three XP event management team regarding results of tournament matches and the prize pool are final.
